Tokyo, Japan, 17 April 2014 – Japan Radio Co., Ltd. (JRC) has announced a long term investment partnership with European maritime systems provider Alphatron Marine.
Long recognized as a world leader in marine electronics JRC views this strategic alliance as a way to grow the JRC brand offering, while at the same time meet the ever growing demand for more single source system integration.
“JRC is approaching its 100th anniversary and this intense cooperation is evidence of our commitment to the next 100 years,” said Jun Nakazawa, General Manager of JRC. “With the unique strengths of both companies we will be able offer the best of both worlds to all sectors of the industry. Our new combined organization will have the ability to supply and support the shipowner’s needs, from the most basic single item to the fully integrated bridge system for the highest notation vessel”.
Combining the service networks of both companies will further enhance the experience that JRC customers currently receive and expect, a key philosophy that JRC is founded on.

Building on the synergies of both companies, the industry specific Centers of Excellence will combine the operating offices of each as necessary. Presenting a seamless integration and streamlining these functional strengths will immediately allow JRC to provide ship owners and shipyards what they require, both now and in the future.
